威尼斯双年展中国馆主办方中国对外文化集团公司介绍，第57届威尼斯双年展中国馆策展人、策展主题与参展艺术家已经确定：

第57届威尼斯双年展中国馆由中央美术学院实验艺术学院院长邱志杰担任策展人，他将率汤南南、邬建安、汪天稳、姚惠芬四位艺术家参展，中国馆主题为“不息(Continuum-Generation by Generation)”

在邱志杰邀请的参展艺术家名单中，除了当代艺术界熟知的邬建安、汤南南之外，汪天稳其实是一位从事皮影雕刻艺术50多年的国家级工艺美术大师， 姚惠芬则是一位苏绣的国家级非遗传承人。

日前，第57届威尼斯双年展主办方已对外公布展出时间为2017年5月13日至11月26日，目前已经有不少国家相继公布了国家馆代表艺术家、策展人、主题以及相关展览项目等更多细节，从主办方公开的120位主题展参展艺术家名单中，我们发现了六位中国艺术家的名字，包括耿建翌、关小、郝量、刘建华、刘野、周滔(音译)。

2016年9月份，双年展主席保罗·巴拉塔(Paolo Baratta)及策展人克里斯汀·马萨尔(Christine Macel)共同宣布本届威尼斯双年展主题定为“艺术万岁”(Viva Arte Viva)。

第57届威尼斯双年展策展人马萨尔表示，“艺术万岁”这个主题恰到好处的反映了艺术家在当代艺术框架下所扮演的角色和所承担的责任。在宣布双年展主题的声明中，马萨尔认为本届威尼斯双年展是和艺术家一起设计、被艺术家设计、为艺术家设计的一场展览，“希望可以成为一种经验，呈现出对他人、凡事，以及模糊不清的维度的一种外向的包容，向新人文主义开辟出一条新路。”

第57届威尼斯双年展除了有来自57个国家和地区的艺术家作品所组成的各国家馆大展，还会每周举办一场“圆桌”(Open Table)，邀请艺术家与公众一起对谈，探讨与艺术有关的话题。今年一月，威尼斯双年展主席保罗·巴拉塔委任马萨尔担任总策展人时说到，她是“一位致力于强调艺术家在他们所创造的那个世界中所扮演的角色的重要性，同时将生命力与活力温和地注入到我们所生存的世界中。”

此外，1979年生于香港的声音艺术家杨嘉辉(Samson Young)将代表中国香港参展，独立策展人郭瑛(Ying Kwok)负责展馆策划，M+博物馆执行总监、首席策展人郑道炼(Doryun Chong)担任顾问策展人。

行为艺术家谢德庆将代表中国台湾参展，策展人由英国学者、策展人亚德里安•希斯菲尔德(Adrian Heathfield)担任。谈及此次参展威尼斯双年展，谢德庆表示：“这次展览是一次非常难得的机会，能够展出我之前在台湾创作的很多从未公开过的早期作品，同时还能够给予我在纽约创作的‘一年行为表演’全新的理解。能够获得提名委员会的青睐，得以参展威尼斯双年展是我莫大的荣幸。”

其他几个亚洲国家此前也陆续公布了今年威尼斯双年展参展艺术家名单，观念艺术家崔玄周(Cody Choi)和Lee Wan将代表韩国参展，而韩国国家馆的策展人则将由来自首尔的策展人李大衡(Daehyung Lee)担任。广岛艺术家岩崎贵宏(Takahiro Iwasaki)代表日本参展2017年5月13日开幕的第57届威尼斯双年展，其作品将在Meruro Washida担任策展的“颠倒的森林”中呈现。 

邱志杰

邱志杰，1969年生于福建漳州。1992年毕业于浙江美术学院版画系，开始介入当代艺术活动。现为中央美术学院实验艺术学院院长。他的创作活动涉及书法、水墨绘画、摄影、录像、装置、剧场等多种方式。他代表了一种沟通中国文人传统与当代艺术、沟通社会关怀和艺术的个人解放力量的崭新尝试。

他的主要个展包括：2016与时间赛跑，意大利常青画廊;2015大计划，福建美术馆;2013独角兽和龙，威尼斯Querini Stampalia博物馆;2012蓝图，鹿特丹WDW艺术中心;2009偶像的黄昏：南京长江大桥划之四，世界文化宫，柏林;2008破冰:南京长江大桥之三，尤伦斯当代艺术中心，北京;南京长江大桥自杀现象干预计划之一：2008庄子的镇静剂，证大现代艺术馆，上海，等等。曾出版《影像与后现代》、《给我一个面具》、《自由的有限性》、《重要的是现场》、《摄影之后的摄影》等艺术理论著作。主要作品集有《邱志杰：无知者的破冰史》、《时间的形状：邱志杰的光书法摄影》、《莫愁：邱志杰近作》、《记忆考古》等。他作为策展人策划了1996年中国最早的录像艺术展，以及1999年到2005年之间推介青年一代艺术家的“后感性”系列展览。2012年，他是第九届上海双年展“重新发电”的总策展人。

汤南南

1969年生于福建云霄，艺术家，教师。厦门大学艺术学院硕士，中国美术学院跨媒体艺术学院博士。现任教于中国美术学院、集美大学美术学院。作品以现代都市乡愁为核心主题，讨论时间与记忆、神话与诗歌、乡愁与生死等多个命题,试图以社会学文化研究为基础,尝试绘画、装置、摄影、多屏幕录像剧场等多种艺术方式的融通互鉴，努力探索基于自身生活经验并关切当代生活情境的艺术方式。

2016年于北京民生现代美术馆举办个展“铸浪为山”，还曾在中国美院美术馆(2015)、纽约(2009)举办个展。先后参加乌拉尔工业双年展(2015)、第九届上海双年展(2012)、第一届南京三年展(2005)、法国ALTKIRCH现代美术馆的中国当代影像展等展览(2004，巴黎)。

邬建安

邬建安，1980年生出生于北京，于2005年毕业于中央美术学院，获硕士学位并留校任教，现为中央美术学院实验艺术学院副教授，硕士生导师。他的作品曾先后参加了福冈亚洲美术馆、林肯郡博物馆、中央美院美术馆、华盛顿肯尼迪艺术中心、恭王府、波士顿美术馆、纽约大都会艺术博物馆等机构的展出。

在邬建安早期的作品中，他通过中国传统剪纸艺术对中西方神话和哲学进行了具有个人风格和当代文化想象的诠释。而此次展览，不仅呈现了其最为熟稔的创作媒材和风格的作品，同时他也将主题和媒材涉猎到更为广泛的领域。

汪天稳

汪天稳，1949年出生，从事皮影雕刻艺术50多年，其“推皮运刀”技法傲然于皮影界，也因此与河北河南东北等地甚至英法德泰国等各国皮影不同，更加精细准确。他对皮影的历史渊源、传承流变、风格特点、旧稿古谱甚至行规风俗等都烂熟于心，并在创作上、对失传图稿的整理和复制、对老皮影的鉴定与修复都有很大贡献，中外关于皮影学术研究的第一手资料大都来源于他。2006年，汪天稳以《西厢幽会》《霸王别姬》《穆桂英战番将》三件作品力克群雄，以精密准确的人物造型、流畅遒劲的刀工、传统中求变的汪氏风格，成为第五届中国工艺美术大师中的皮影雕刻艺术大师。也是在世的皮影创作者中唯一的一个国大师，名副其实坐上第一把交椅。

姚惠芬

姚惠芬，1967年出生于苏州刺绣世家，自幼就开始学习刺绣。师从近代苏绣"仿真绣"大师沈寿的第三代传人牟志红和中国工艺美术大师任嘒娴。擅长将苏绣乱针绣的技法完美地融入中国传统水墨画的绣制中，使其绣品更具独创性。主要代表作品有《张大千肖像》、《泼彩红荷图》、《荷之韵》等。
